When it comes to 'self-care', I am well aware of the disconnect between what moms are told they “should do” and what they actually have time to do. I know it because I got lost in that disconnect. I struggled emotionally and physically as a new mom and found the idea of helping myself out of it incredibly overwhelming.
My own journey combined with my commitment to continuous learning and my 20 years of hands on therapeutic treatment and movement experience have given me an incredible vantage point for defining an informed, holistic approach to helping mothers heal. You have everything you need inside of you, sometimes you just need a guide to support and show you the way.
The motherhood journey can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be.
As a Massage Therapist I use my hands to relieve tension in the muscles and fascia to free up the body for better movement. In cases of dysfunction, the body may restrict movement in certain areas to maintain stability. Massage therapy can help restore movement and circulation, and when paired with strengthening and stretching, enhance overall body function. While my primary focus is on mothers, I also provide massage therapy services to individuals of all backgrounds.
Restore Your Core® is an innovative program that integrates elements of yoga, pilates, and various movement practices to improve mobility and stability in the body. Designed specifically for women experiencing core and pelvic diaphragm issues, it meets you where you are; and where you are may surprise you… which is awesome! You get to truly understand how your body is functioning and learn the tools to help alleviate your symptoms and create a strong and functional body.
After surgical births, mothers often experience various post-recovery issues. Unfortunately, insufficient resources are available to assist these mothers with aftercare or potential impacts on their bodies. This is why manual treatment to the scar and surrounding tissue is so important. To release the adhesions that are forming, to soften the density of the tissue, to alleviate pain and restore function. It is never too early to support healing or too late to treat the scar tissue. In my practice, I use various approaches based on the woman's stage in the healing process.
In a fast-paced world, providing gentle touch can help children develop resilience, body awareness, and mindfulness. Taking a moment to relax the body and calm the nervous system, allowing for moments of stillness and receiving caring touch, can have a significant impact on our young ones.

She never existed before.”
